Formerly known as the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona's track is a favourite for not only racing, but testing as well; including Formula One. Familiarity does not, however, lessen the challenge for car or driver. Barcelona’s mix of high and low-speed corners, plus its abrasive and rather bumpy track surface, makes for a physically and mechanically taxing race. Tyre wear is particularly high and the varying winds that cut across the circuit mean an optimum set-up can be hard to find.
For spectators, Elf corner is among the best places to watch, as it is one of the track’s few overtaking opportunities. For the drivers it is the final two turns, known collectively as New Holland, which provide one of the biggest challenges of the season. A fast exit is essential in order to maximise speed down the start-finish straight into Elf.

Located in Le Castellet in France's beautiful Côtes de Provence, Circuit Paul Ricard lies between Toulon and Marseille, and was named after its founder and sponsor.
Constructed on a plateau, the track opened in April 1970 and is known for the Mistral straight which is over 1 mile long (1.8km). It held its first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1971 - won by the legendary Jackie Stewart from local hero Francois Cevert.
Its flexibility and mild winter weather have made the circuit a favourite for testing by several motorsport teams, including Formula One.

One of the greatest and most well-known spectacles in the world; without the 24 Hours of Le Mans, endurance racing would not exist. Created in 1923 by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the race is the world's greatest sports-car race; famous and infamous for the triumphs and tragedies that have occurred there over the years.
History runs deep at the Circuit de la Sarthe, the name of the 8.5 mile temporary course that roars to life in the sleepy French countryside every June. The original race was run entirely on local roads, but for reasons of safety it now combines sections of public road knitted together with stretches of purpose-built racetrack. The famous Mulsanne straight, part of the original track, is still in use. One of the world's longest racing straightaways at 3.7 miles, it's actually a public road, French route départementale D338, except for those few days each year when it is closed down for the 24-hour event.

The Enzo e Dino Ferrari International Circuit located in Imola, Italy is named after Enzo Ferrari, and his son, Alfredo Ferrari. One of the few tracks in the world that runs in a counter-clockwise direction, it is universally known as a technically demanding track that rewards the best drivers.
Imola has hosted all forms of racing, including the Formula 1 circus. During the year, the Imola Circuit hosts plenty of motoring events and provides the opportunity to participate Free Practice Days for cars and motorcycles through registration on the official website.

Spa Francorchamps is one of the world’s greatest race tracks. It held its first car race in 1922 and the original course used public roads between Spa, Malmedy, and Stavelot. Two years later it hosted the first 24 hours of Francorchamps race and its first Grand Prix closely followed in 1925. Since then the Spa circuit has undergone several modifications, the largest in 1979 where the circuit was shortened from nine to four miles.
Spa Francorchamps is renowned for its unpredictable weather, frequently parts of the track can be dry while others are wet. The circuit also hosts the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix.

Silverstone is one of the world’s renowned circuits and is best known as the home of the British Grand Prix. It held the first Formula 1 World Championship race in 1950 and has hosted the British Grand Prix every year since 1987.
Built on an old military airfield in 1948, Silverstone was a high-speed track with long straights and quick curves. Throughout the years the track layout has undergone several changes but retained most of its character. With a combination of ultra-fast corners, long straights and some slow sections, Silverstone represents a true challenge.

Portimão circuit is a motorsport complex in the warm and sunny Algarve in the south of Portugal. It has been designed to the highest specifications to be one of the best facilities in Europe. With a focus on safety and a world class paddock complex, it has become a favourite of racers, as well as track day enthusiasts.
With what is described as a roller coaster layout, this exciting and unique track combines 9 right hand corners and 6 left hand corners in one fast flowing, wide ribbon of tarmac. The corners and straights follow each other at an exciting rhythm with vast, accentuated declines. The undulations of the circuit, some tricky cambers and blind crests make this a physical and demanding circuit.
